Nueva historia - New history (2x07):

Estaba durmiendo cuando de repente oí la voz de Ana en la escalera gritándome. Me encantaba dormir hasta tarde, pero también me gustaba sacar un poco de quicio a Ana cuando llegábamos tarde a algún sitio. Siempre se hacía la enfadada aunque sé que en el fondo, a ella también le gustaba gritarme de vez en cuando.


  - Ana: ¡¡¡Kiefer!!! Si no te vistes, no llegamos.


  - Yo: Ya voy (Respondí entre bostezos).


He de reconocer que para mi ropa siempre he sido único. Me gustaba usar camisetas 7 u 8 tallas más grandes que yo y los pantalones en los que cabían toda mi familia conmigo. Me vestí y bajé al primer piso, donde me esperaba Ana. Estaba impresionante. Llevaba un vestido negro y su precioso pelo se lo había recogido en una discreta coleta. Cuando me vio bajar por la escalinata, se llevó las manos a la cabeza.


  - Ana: Pero Kiefer... ¿Piensas ir así vestido?


  - Yo (Con tono indignado): Llevamos juntos 2 años y siempre me has visto así. No sé porqué te extrañas ahora.


Ana no aguantó más y se echó a reír.


  - Ana: Cariño...te quiero por como tú eres. Me da igual si llevas camisetas que son más largas que mis vestidos. Te quiero igual.


Nos dimos un beso y salimos por la puerta de nuestra casa. Hoy íbamos a comer con los padres de Ana en uno de los restaurantes del puerto. Nos tenían una noticia preparada y por eso era la cita.


Cuando llegamos al puerto les encontramos enseguida. Les saludamos y encontramos sitio en la terraza de un agradable restaurante. Pedimos la comida. En lo que la traían, los padres de Ana comenzaron a hablar.


  - Mercedes: Bueno... (Dijo con una gran sonrisa en su rostro).


  - Ana: ¿Qué nos queríais contar?


  - Mercedes: Veréis... Antonio y yo... ¡¡Nos vamos de crucero por las islas griegas!!


  - Ana (Muy sorprendida): Mamá pero... ¡Eso es estupendo! ¿A qué se debe tal celebración?


Yo mientras intentaba quedarme en silencio porque no sabía muy bien qué decir.


  - Mercedes: A tu padre le han dado un mayor cargo en su empresa.


  - Yo (Incorporándome a la conversación): ¡Vaya... enhorabuena!


La comida transcurrió agradable mientras nos daban detalles del crucero por las islas griegas. Al terminar de comer decidimos dar una vuelta por el centro de Costa de Luz. Estábamos en el centro de un bulevar paseando cuando sucedió algo que nadie se esperaba que pasara en aquella especial tarde.


  - Mercedes: Chicos, nosotras vamos a la tienda que está enfrente de la calle. Nos vemos aquí en 10 minutos.


  - Antonio: Está bien. Nosotros echaremos un vistazo a esos coches de aquel concesionario.


Ana se acercó a mí a darme un beso. Empezamos a tontear antes de irnos cada uno por nuestro lado.


  - Ana: Te voy a echar de menos.


  - Yo: Ana por Dios. Sólo estaremos separados 10 minutos. Ahora te veo.


  - Ana: Está bien.


Ana se giró para ir con su madre a la tienda de enfrente pero ella ya había empezado a cruzar. En ese momento Ana hizo señas a su madre para que la esperara pero no terminó de cruzar la calle. Cuando Ana se quiso dar cuenta, corrió hacia su madre todo lo deprisa que más pudo. Le dieron igual los coches que pasaban por ese momento. La angustia bañaba su cara.


Antes de que se diera cuenta, el tranvía de Costa de Luz le dio un fuerte golpe a Mercedes que hizo que cayera al suelo de inmediato. Todo el mundo de la calle se paró para contemplar qué había sucedido. Ana llegó horrorizada hacia su madre. La había atropellado el tranvía.
